Something will grow from all that you’re going through, and it will be you. How do I say thank you? My heart is pouring out today with gratitude and thank you to all who stand with me and impact my life in such a positive way. There are many women who are pillars for me. They are pushing me to another level. They challenge me to become the best version of myself and take risks face forward. I am also thankful for the people who hurt and harm me. My growth this past year, personally and professionally has been off the charts. I know that I am being prepared for some great things in the world. It is stirred inside of me so deeply, that I can’t get it off of heart, not for a moment.
For us believers, I am thankful for the life that He gave, and the Cross-that He bore, so that I may have this life and honor to serve people. I get so many fulfillments from serving. We don’t need a day on the calendar to say Thank You. But I love the intentionality of using this day to be grateful. Life can take us off course sometimes.
I am having Thanksgiving in Los Angeles, California. Not exactly what I am used to because it’s 91 degrees here. But I get to be mommy and come cook dinner for my son and his most awesome girlfriend, along with friends and an open invitation for people to come have a home cooked meal. Many folks don’t realize I am a great cook! They see me out all the time because as a businesswoman and single chick, I don’t have much purpose to cook, but I love it! I smell the sweet potato pies right now!
Blessings to you and your families on this intentional holiday. Love you!
