Award-Winning Author Cindi Bright to join Converge Media Family

I am pleased to announce that after five years on radio, HeartBeat has joined Converge Media where I will continue to focus on Prosperity for Black America. Set to launch July 4th at 5 pm PST, I am hopeful this focus will benefit communities left behind.

Last year, I published my first book, The Color of Courage: Crushing Racism in Corporate America that highlights who and how black people are being left behind in business. The word on the street has always been "we can't find black talent." Remember the Wells Fargo saying that nonsense? How do you expect to find black talent, when organizations continue to hire the "same type" of gatekeepers? How do you expect to find black talent when you have populated your most powerful positons inside of your organizations with the same people who nod their heads affirmatively that they support diversity, but they are secretly insecure and jealous of the highly educated, confident, black women applying for roles?

HeartBeat will focus on issues, strategies, advice and commentary featuring a mix of news and opinion. HeartBeat has successfully been an engaging show, adding a new layer of programming to Converge Media. The outreach to bring this show further has continued and I am so grateful for the benefit all people find from listening to this show.

This is a major step for me. I continue to expand my reach and share my voice, experiences and perspectives with the community and have landed listeners across the country. I have added four expert commentators to the show weekly and will continue to bring on elected officials, candidates for public office (as I support candidates who will act and make changes to policies that benefit Black people) and the business community to discuss issues impacting black prosperity in small business and in large organizations whose "diversity" numbers still lag in progress.
